About

I’m a writer based in Minneapolis. My reporting and criticism appears or is forthcoming in MnArtists, InReview, Full Stop, the Collagist, the Los Angeles Review of Books, the Point, the Millions, Guernica Daily, CityLab, Jacobin, and the Atlantic. I’ve been awarded residencies and fellowships by the Wassaic Project, Summer Literary Seminars, the Minnesota State Arts Board, Fulbright, and the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. I hold an MFA in fiction from UMN. I’m currently doing a PhD in the department of Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature at UMN, where my research focuses on the intersections between real estate and installation art, and dwelling and finance capital. (For more on my work, please see this interview with the Wassaic Project.)
